Sister Outsider

Any time that I think about how I made it through a bachelor's, master's, and all the coursework for a PhD that emphasized women's studies and DIDN'T read this book, I get really upset. This book changed my life. If you are interested in queer studies, disability studies, race studies, or women's studies, this should be a foundation text for you. Lorde's a poet, and the way she writes makes me want to start a revolution.
