Tea Pot Tier July Book Club

The Teapot Tier includes a paperback copy of Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, two bags of Abeille's Milk Oolong Tea (enough to brew a half gallon of iced tea each), a bookmark, a passport for summer reading, a sticker for the the passport and a larger version for any use you'd like, and a link to the book discussion on July 23rd at 7pm.

Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers is a delightful book about finding community under undesirable circumstances. Vera Wong runs Vera Wang's tea shop (misspelling intended to attract customers) alone since the death of her husband. One morning, she arrives downstairs to find a dead man in her shop. She decides the detectives assigned to her case need her help, and she compiles her own list of suspects and begins her own investigation. During the process, she befriends everyone she meets, whether they like it or not. Vera is an amusing and stubborn character who reminds us to take care of the elders in our lives, or, if you are an elder, that you deserve community.

This summer reading club is presented by Abeille Voyante Tea Company and Basil's Books. All packages will ship at the end of June.
