Vanessa Yu's Magical Paris Tea Shop: Vanessa Yu can see people's fortunes in tea leaves. She wishes she didn't have this ability, but finds these fortunes sneaking out of her no matter what. It hinders her ability to have relationships, so her parents enlist a matchmaker. This appointment exacerbates her dislike of her ability, so she takes the opportunity to run away to Paris and work in her aunt's tea shop. Don't fear! She ends up accepting her ability and finding love by the end of the novel. Chinese culture infuses this novel, and Lim's writing is delightful. I loved this book, and I'm not usually into romance.
