The House in the Cerulean Sea

Imagine that you have a soul-sucking government job that involves something you care deeply about, but the monotony and bureaucracy makes you hate it. All you really want to do is live by the ocean. Then one day, your job sends you to the ocean, and in the process you find love and happiness...only to have to go back to your old life. You also discover corruption within your industry. What do you do?

Well, hopefully you decide to burn it all down (figuratively....kinda) like the main character of this book, Linus. The House on the Cerulean Sea is magical and inspiring. If you enjoyed H*rry P*tter, but hate JK Rowling, this is a good book for you, but told from the adult's viewpoint. It's also a lovely romance.
